Fishy Fathers Day

It might be a bit early but the childcare organized an outing in celebration of Father’s Day today and I was with Fitzand having fun at the ‘Kid’s Kampung‘. We had fun catching fishes, feeding animals and also there was a short ‘meet the pets’ session too. It is Fitzand’s first attempt at catching those little fishes and I decided to let him do it himself instead of helping him scoop a few dozens of them fishes into the little pail. I’ve seen some parents doing just that (catching the fishies instead of the kids!) and I don’t really get what it is for. Isn’t it suppose to be for the kids to learn or have fun doing it? Or were they just trying to ‘break even’ since they’ve paid the entrance fees and the kiddo didn’t manage to scoop up half a fish?

Anyway … it was a little amusing to see Fitzand doing it and I was surprised he managed to get 8 of them fishes (excluding one dead one) in the end. Hahaha! He got bored of it and told me he decided to call it a day (!!!). The other surprising thing he did was to pour the fishes back into the water after we decided to take a break from catching them fishes. Why? I told me before that the fishes are probably gonna die by the time we get home or perhaps tomorrow … if we bring them home. Letting them go is a better option. I was surprised he remembered what I told him and released the fishes accordingly. I think a couple of them were dead by then. 🙁

The reward for being a good boy. 🙂

Didn’t take much photos and instead … I shot some little video clips to show his mommy. 😀 Thank God he was too tired and fell asleep after we reached home and I had an hour to put the clips together.
